Being an artist is to have the freedom of expression. I believe you must learn skill and discipline to have control and structure of your chosen media. I call it controlled chaos.
I love simplicity, though embellishments will call to me.
I will tweak on glass after it leaves the annealer, it can be months or years before it is finished. I add illuminations, combining mixed medias. Enhance antiques with glass or collaborate designs with other artists.
Ideas and visions come everyday, I hope to see them all to fruition... but then again, there are so many more that will come, I'm not too worried about it.
